About the Author-Coach Jack Johnson

Jack Johnson has been a highly sought-after coach and mentor for over sixty years. The five-time Hall of Famer has helped thousands of people discover the how’s and why’s of being their best so that they can do their best.

Jack was the first person who came to Jim Tressel’s mind when he was building his coaching staff immediately after he became Head Coach of The Ohio State University Buckeyes.

As a retired, successful high school head football coach, Jack had proven himself to be devoted to meeting people right where they were and helping them to overcome adversity on and off the field. While he was a strength coach at OSU, players jockeyed to be coached by him in the weight room and in their lives.

A College All-American himself. Jack earned Coach of the Year and numerous other coach awards.
